Cara L. Speier, DO, FACOOG

OB/GYN 
Board Certified Medical Director

Dr. Speier has served as the Medical Director of Lifecycles OB/GYN since 2001. She is a Robotic surgeon and promotes Minimally Invasive Surgery. She serves as Vice-Chair of the Department of OB/GYN and is the Co-Chair of the Quality Improvement Patient Safety Committee Policy and Former Chair of Procedures Committee at Beaumont Farmington Hills. She served as Former Physician Chair of the Governing Board of the Novi Surgery Center. Dr. Speier graduated from Michigan State University's College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1994. She completed her Internship and Residency in OB/GYN at Botsford Hospital. Dr. Speier is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Medical Association, the American Osteopathic Association, the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, and is a member of the clinical teaching faculty for the OB/GYN Residency and Family Medicine Residency Program at Beaumont Farmington Hills. 

Dr. Speier is experienced and knowledgeable in Telemedicine.

Margi Birt

Practice Administrator

Margi is the office Practice Administrator and Telemedicine Director managing the daily operations of our medical office. She works directly with Dr. Speier to facilitate patient flow. Margi additionally serves as the Office Medical EMR Scribe allowing the physician face to face interaction with patients during their exam. Margi has been on staff at Lifecycles since 2002. Margi has 20+ years of experience in medical office management and medical billing and coding.​ She is a graduate of Schoolcraft College. 

Adrianna Soto, RDMS/RDCS

Certified Ultrasound Sonographer

Adriana performs Pelvic , Transvaginal, Bladder, OB - Fetal and Limited Abdominal  Ultrasounds and works with Dr. Speier to perform Saline Infusion Sonograms  in our office on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. She graduated from University of Miami/JMH from the School of Ultrasound. Adriana has 25+ years of experience in OB/GYN Ultrasound and Women's Health. She is bilingual in Spanish.

Ruth Ann Wheatley 

Clinical Administrator 

Ruth Ann is responsible for all aspects our office lab assuring quality control and facilitates collection and processing of lab specimens. She assists Dr. Speier on patient exams and with in office procedures.
Ruth Ann graduated from Ross Medical Center and is a Certified Medical Assistant.  She has been on staff since 2010.​
